Slave or master
Slave or master: which KESS3 do you need?
Both are the same tool. The difference is who writes the map — and that decides the price, the skills you need and who stands behind the file.
Files by MMT
Slave
The tool reads the ECU and sends the file to its master. Buy a slave from us and that master is MMT: we write the map in house, check it against our own rolling road and send it back through your portal for you to write.
- Lower price for the tool
- No tuning software or calibration skills needed
- Every file done by people who tune every day
- Upgrade to master later, per protocol group
Master
The tool opens and saves every file it reads, and you write your own maps in tuning software such as ECM Titanium. You can also run slave tools of your own.
- Full control of every file
- For experienced calibrators
- Needs tuning software and the time to use it
